Call for participants from all Europe: "Ganja city Through the Eyes of European Youth" in Ganja,Azerbaijan

Ganja through the eyes of European Youth is a 6 days long project which will be organized by Ganja European Youth Capital 2016 PU and financed by Azerbaijan Youth Foundation. The project will be implemented in July 10-16 in 2015 in the frame of Ganja European Youth Capital 2016. The aim of the project is to promote Ganja EYC2016 in European countries, introduce the culture of Ganja to European youth and build connection between the youth of Ganja and Europe. The project will gather 14 European and 5 local photographers who will have 4 days to explore Ganja city and take photos of the city and city’s young people. By the end of the project each photographer will have to give out 1-5 photos for the competition. The jury consisting of local and European authorities and photographers will select 25 photos for the exhibitions. All selected photos will be printed out and given to photographers. Photographers will have an obligation to organize an exhibition with the selected photos in their home country (participants are free to choose any city in their home country). Participants will use the support of a local NGO which will help in exhibition organization. In order to ensure the organization of exhibitions back home participants will have to provide a support letter from an NGO and attach it to application.
Eligibility
Young people between 18-30 years old from different European countries who have an experience in photography. Beginners are also welcomed to join, however priority will be given to professional photographers.
Costs
All expenses (travel, accommodation, transportation in the city, visa, meals) will be provided by Ganja EYC2016. Participants are expected to bring their own cameras and any other needed tools for photographing.
How to participate:
In order to participate please fill in the attached application form. In order to ensure organization of an exhibition all applicants are expected to send a support letter from a local NGO, municipality representative or any other institution (exhibition center) which can help the participant with all needed support for the exhibition. The support letter template is included. Applicants are welcomed to send 3-5 photos they made in order to show us their talents and skills.
